A School should be a place of Light, of Liberty and of Learning Shanti Vidya Mandir was established in year 2001, with the blessings of Shri Shri 1008 Maha Mandleshwar Swami Atma Nand Puri ji Maharaj in the sweet memory of Smt. Shanti Devi ji Garg, beloved mother of Chairman, Sh. Kulbhushan Garg and Secretary, Sh. Ashok Garg. SVM got its affiliation from Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi in year 2004 up to Secondary level and got approval to run senior secondary Classes in Science, Commerce , Humanities streams in year 2007. It was established to provide quality education without putting extra burden on the pockets of parents belonging to rural as well as urban middle class families in this Indo-Pak border underdeveloped area. The institution is equipped with good infrastructure with spacious playground, green environment, beautifully designed building, well ventilated big classrooms having facilities of CCTV Cameras for positive vigilance of teaching learning process.  Other than quality education, Moral values, Respect for Indian traditions, love for humanity and national integration are among some aspects which we want to inculcate among students.
